Sruthi Laya School of Fine Arts was founded in the year 2005. The School is devoted to the teaching of the classical arts and it provides education and training in Indian Classical Music and Dance.
Over 500 students are taking courses as part time studies. It has forward homegrown talent and created an awareness and understanding of the Indian cultural heritage, particularly valuable in the multi-ethnic Singapore.
The contribution of Sruthi Laya School of Fine Arts in Singapore has been extensive. It currently offers programs and services to pre-school, primary, secondary, junior college, and university students, as well as to the private students in Singapore. The classes at all levels for students in the age group of 5-60 years. It is one place that brings out the subtle talents of the young and adults.
The students of Sruthi Laya School of Fine Arts present musical concerts on various places like Community Centers, Arts Education Programmes at Schools, Temple’s special occasions for example during the Navarathri festivals etc.,
Our students performed in the multi racial programme, The Divine Light Procession for< World Peace and Harmony-2006 and received a memorial award from Mr. Michale Palmer (M.P, Pasir Ris - Punggol GRC).
Sruthi Laya School of Fine Arts is conducting classes at Community centers and participated in the Singapore National heritage board Arts festival 2009.
